The 12 Channel Load Box is an active cooled, 12 channel load box for head unit and amplifier testing. It has two different resistance values to choose from, 2 ohm and 4 ohm are most common, but custom load values can be ordered. The front panel switch also has a center detent which sends the channels to a rear set of banana jacks, when another alternative load or live audio speakers could be connected for monitoring. It is housed in a 2U 19” rack enclosure, has a substantial heat sink for most test cases, with TO-252 100 watt ceramic load resistors. Pro Cool Studio quality fans keep the fan noise to a minimum.
